Hi There - Dragonflies!
Love the fresh brightness of this card. Absolutely, loving my watercolour pencils. I coloured bands of colour onto watercolour paper. Then washed them using my Aqua Brush. I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set to stamp the greeting. This stamp set is becoming a favourite too! Finished with some bling, some gold sequins cut from the Gold Sequin Trim. Of course, the dragonflies were cut using Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies.

Beautiful You - Scene Card
I made the scene into a card too! The cardbase is made from Dapper Denim. A strip of paper from Moroccan Designer Series Paper was adhered down the left side and three candy dots were placed at the bottom right. It looked a little plain so I added some Dapper Denim rouched ribbon tied with a linen thread bow.

Beautiful You - Framing the Watercolour Scene
The scene from yesterday's blog needed to be framed. I had made a few. So I researched and made a shadow box for one and then had a go at making a recessed window card for the second (scene a variation of the first scene). Both were not difficult, but I think I will leave explanation on how to make them for a class.
I covered the shadow box frame with paper from the Moroccan Designer Series Paper and Emerald Envy rouched ribbon bow. The recessed window card also used Dapper Denim cardstock. The flowers were cut using the Botanical Builder Framelitss from scrap cardstock

Beautiful You - Watercolour Scene
I loved this girl - she has so much energy! It reminded me of my girls dancing, jumping waves and even doing the odd somersault at the beach on our camping holidays.
To put this scene together I used three different stamp sets. The images were stamped with the Basic Grey Archival Stampin' Pad on Shimmery White cardstock. After inking up the images stamp off for a lighter outline. Then I traced over the images with my new Watercolour pencils (love using them) and finished off with a blender pen.
Would you would like to learn how to use watercolour pencils? Like some help with blending or need some tips on creating shadow or depth? Check out my Card Classes as I have a special lesson on using watercolour pencils. No drawing skills needed.
The following stamps sets were used to stamp the above scene - the seagulls and grass from the Wetlands stamp set and the clouds from Ski is the Limit stamp set. But you could team her with the High Tide stamp set new in the Occassions catalogue. Imagine the scenes that you can make to stamp or colour!

Beautiful You - Happy Birthday Gorgeous Girl 2
This time I stamped this gorgeous girl in Mint Macaron.
Kept it simple. Added the ribbon to give a stylish finish.
