This card uses one of my favourite techniques - water colour block background. On a clear block load with Marina Mist and Soft Sky ink. This can be done in two ways, scribble on the block with markers or swipe the ink pads across the block. Mist with water and stamp onto water colour paper. Before lifting, give it a little wriggle to blend and spread. Blot off excessive ink or let it run for the look you want. Fully dry before stamping image and sentiment in Night of Navy.
