I think Bermuda Bay, Tempting Turquoise and Pool Party made one of my favourite background colour combinations.
The tiny white matt made the bokeh layer really stand out.

Big bold stamps look great stamped on a bokeh layer.  The stamp is new from the Holiday Catalogue,Happy Ornament. It is stamped and embossed with Copper  and has a Copper Foil matt as well.                                                                       For this card I sponged the background colours of this bokeh layer a little differently.  I chose three blue inks - Dapper Denim, Pool Party and Soft Sky, and sponged diagonal bands of colours.

The Stitches & Craft Show

The Show starts tomorrow and runs through until Sunday. I am really excited! I have just returned from helping to set the stall up and seen all the wonderful things that are available to you from all of the other Stampin' Up demonstrators that are participating.  All of the demonstrators have put some wonderful kits together.

For this show, I put some card kits together that feature the 'bokeh' technique.  Bokeh being, layers of overlapping shapes, applied over a background of colour.  With this kit you get to learn this technique and make two cards. I have designed 9 different layouts in all.  Here they all are!

Hope you like them! I had lots of fun making them. Over the next four days I will have more Bokeh cards to share. All with a different feature.

Take a punch or use a circle framelit to create a "window" on your DSP, then layer an image or greeting underneath and finish off with ribbon.

Make some quick and easy cards using this template with your newly purchased DSP.

Cut strips of DSP and punch the ends with the Triple Banner Punch. Stamp a greeting and add a ribbon  to complete.  Here are two examples from Stampin' Up.
