Card Design - Finding the Inspiration!

It is hard to be original and creative all the time.  Above are two cards that I made.
How alike but different!  The Stampin' Up catalogue is a wonderful resource with so many layouts!
I love looking at all the accents and storing up little things, for instance, the ribbon trim on the cards above.

Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper - Little Girl Vintage Birthday Cards

I couldn't wait to start using this gorgeous vintage paper.  It brings back some great childhood memories and I have a great scrapbooking project in mind using the little girl.  I have some childhood photo's of my sister and myself in our Sunday best ready to be scrapped but for now I have two cards to share.

Lime Lime Burst Card using the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Bundle

The background of the card base was stamped using 'Make a Wish' stamp from the stamp set (143662), as too was the birthday greeting. The balloon was punched from the gorgeous Foil Frenzy Speciality Designer Paper using the Balloon Bouquet Punch (140609). I further glitzed it up with some Silver Glimmer Paper (135314) and Sliver Sequin trim. Mini Sequin Trim (144230) is new.

Here are some further examples using the Foil Frenzy Suite. The suite includes the stamp set, punch, thinlit die, Foil Frenzy DSP and the cute Mini Gift Bows (144127).

Birthday Gift Card featuring the new Frenzy Foil Designer Series Paper

A very quick and easy card to make.  Just cut a 3" square and wrap it with ribbon.
I choose my favourite In Colour from the new Frenzy Foil Designer Series Paper (144125).  There are 12 sheets : 1 of each 3 single-sided designs in 4 colours ( Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Sky and Tangerine foil on heavyweight  12" square kraft paper).

                                                                                                                                               

The birthday greeting comes from the Better Together stamp set (141736).  A stamp for every occassion. It was cut out using  the an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372).
