Build a Birdcage - Moroccan Birthday

I made this card from a sketch pattern.  So my focus was on the tile pattern. The Morrocan DSP was perfect for this.  I cut the paper up and mounted it on Early Expresso, added a strip of Bermuda Bay.  Took the colour scheme from the DSP. I stamped and then cut out the birdcage. Finally adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Build a Birdcage - Hi Card

Another watercolour block background. I used Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum inks. The birds and cage were stamped in Sweet Sugarplum. The background paper came from Cupcakes and Carousels DSP Stack.  A segment of Peekaboo Peach Rouched Ribbon was tied with some gold thread.

Dragonfly Birthday Card

I have been using watercolour washes quite a bit lately.  This time I took my Bermuda Bay and Dapper Denim Markers and scribbled them onto an acrylic block. I then misted it with water and  pressed it onto some watercolour paper. Dried it off before addhering the dragonfly. It had been cut using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies from Gold Shimmer paper. The birthday greeting came from Endless Birthday Greetings stamp set. This was then mounted on black cardstock.
I added a layer of Botanical Vellum and some Flirty Flamingo Rouched ribbon tied with gold thread to finish it off.

Hi There - Dragonflies!

Love the fresh brightness of this card. Absolutely, loving my watercolour pencils. I coloured bands of colour onto watercolour paper. Then washed them using my Aqua Brush. I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set to stamp the greeting. This stamp set is becoming a favourite too! Finished with some bling, some gold sequins cut from the Gold Sequin Trim. Of course, the dragonflies were cut using Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies.

My Valentine's Card

This card evolved from a scrap piece.  I made a few Thank You cards using the heart from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  When the thinlit was cut it leaves a lovely scrap heart shape which is too good to throw out.
